3. SMS/MMS & Mobile Communications

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS/MMS messages from SJL Insurance Agency, you agree to receive text messages related to your insurance quote requests, policy inquiries, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications.

Message frequency varies based on your activity and inquiries. You may receive between 1-10 messages per month depending on the status of your request.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to SMS/MMS communications.

You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages unless you re-opt in.

Non-Sharing of Mobile Information: SJL Insurance Agency does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in consent, or text messaging originator data to any third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information and opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. This does not apply to sharing with our service providers who help us deliver our services (e.g., Twilio for SMS delivery) who are contractually bound to protect your data.

4. Live Chat and Website Analytics

Our websites use Zoho SalesIQ to provide live chat and to understand how visitors use our pages. When you open a chat or browse the site, we may collect:

• Information you type into a chat, including your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your messages
• Technical and visit information such as IP address (used to estimate country or region), device type, browser, referring source, pages viewed, and time on page

We use this information to answer your questions, follow up on your inquiry, improve our pages, and keep a record of your conversation with us. Chat transcripts and visitor records are stored in Zoho SalesIQ and may be linked to your contact record in our customer relationship management system. Zoho is contractually bound to protect this data and does not use it for its own marketing purposes.

Using the chat is optional. If you prefer not to have chat data collected, contact us by phone, email, text, or a web form instead, and you can ask us to delete a chat transcript at any time using the contact details in section 8.
